Looks like Bottle is the only one that caught what I was saying.

Of course that drunken bitch Dire had to jump in with his normal snarky irrelevant bark, thats the only thing he is good at. Drinking himself stupid and making nasty comments online. How fulfilling of a life you must have Direnuts?

Seriously are you people that daft that you can't see the reasons for hating Road Trips are just stupid and contradictory?

This idea is not stupid and has been done a few times before. In fact they are some of the best albums the Dead ever put out.

Tell me

Bear's Choice
Live Dead
Skull Fuck
Europe 72
Steal Your Face (might be bad example but)

are shit albums?

No but you guys obsessed with what Jerry wore for underpants are ragging on this concept and one that worked spectacularly before like I just mentioned.

So yeah this is why I call you "shitheads dumb fucks" and give you crap everyday I can.

Because you are!

OK, my opinion now is irrelevant, as I'm an old codger, not a Dead Head, and am looking back not forward at their music.

At the time those albums came out, I was in my teens or early 20s, and heard them several times - sober and otherwise.

This was my opinion then, not now:

Live Dead: side 1 (DS) Great.
side 2 (SS/11) Incredible.
side 3 (LL) Gospel.
side 4 (GN/FB) Shite.

Skullfuck: Great.

Bear's Choice: Sounds good but boring.

Europe '72: Sprawling, nothing stands out.

Steal Your Face: Sounds bad, boring.

Years later, 10 years ago or so, I asked Justin Kreutzman, who was playing Live Dead on his friend's boom box, why that album sounded so damn good, and he said it was the 16 track mastering.
